Can I use the same skill more than once in one encounter?
The rulebook states once per encounter and no duplicates.

No — each skill is usable once per encounter (or once per boss round), but you can use any number of different skills, in any order. A skill must be used in its entirety at once, and a hero cannot own two copies of the same skill (two heroes in a 2P game may each have one).
