Does Poison Aura (Hydra) reduce dice gained or set by skills?

It reduces only black dice that are rolled, whatever the source (including skills and feats); dice that are gained or increased are not affected. Triggers like Ethereal or Split are checked together at roll time, so a reduced die does not trigger them again.
