Do roll effects like Split, Ethereal or the Yeti's discard affect dice a skill sets or increases?

Question

Accepted Answer

No — they only trigger on dice that are rolled (including rerolls and feat or skill rolls). Dice that a skill gains at a set value or increases are not rolled and are unaffected.
