Rules

The goal of the game is to get more points than your opponent after two rounds of play.

Before you play the game, attach one number sticker to each of the 18 wooden tiles.

To set up a game, place the wooden tiles with the number side up into three rows and three columns. There should be two layers of tiles placed.

The tiles stacked on each other must equal a sum of 10. The sum of the outside rows and columns must each be 15. The example below shows an appropriate set up, assuming that each tile beneath makes the stack a sum of 10 (below the 9 is a 1, below the 6 is a 4 etc).

9 2 4
1 6 8
5 7 3

To play, choose one player to be the first Attacker, the other player is the defender. Give that player the attacker marker. Each player chooses either rows or columns and takes all the corresponding markers.

The attacker chooses one of his markers and places it face down on the table. The defender does the same. After both are chosen the are revealed. The attacker captures the tile that is in the cross section of the row and column shown. If this area is empty the player does not capture a tile. The defender now becomes the attacker and play repeats with both players choosing one of their three markers again.

The game is over when one of the row or columns has been emptied of all tiles. Players count their score with each tile being worth its respective face value. At the end of two rounds the player with the highest score is the winner.
