The Flatiron Skyscraper

The Flatiron was completed in 1902. At the time, it was one of the city's tallest skyscrapers, and the unique triangular shape quickly made it an icon of New York architecture. The building is reminiscent of a classical column, with a base and a capital. The middle facade is adorned a with a decorative wave, and a triangular cornice runs along the top of the building. The Flatiron has been a New York historic monument since 1966 and national historic site since 1989.

The Bonus Challenge Cards

Big Developer

At the end of the game, you will receives 5 points per district where you have at least 3 big size skyscrapers (4 squares or more). Remember, skyscrapers count even when only part of them are in a district, so those border lots will be useful here again.

Silver Titan

At the end of the game, you will receive 5, 10, or 15 points (respectively) if you fit 4, 5, or all 6 of the Silver Skyscrapers into your districts. This bonus scales up, which means that those last few silver buildings will be worth a lot of points. This goal will be challenging in a four-player game.

Real Estate Mogul

At the end of the game, you will receive 5 or 10 points for having 2 Skyscrapers (of any generation, including the starting property) in 4 or all 5 districts. This bonus encourages dispersion with very few constraints, making it a great choice for an introductory game.
