Setup
Krwiobus does not appear in the army as a separate token in the pool. When drawing a standard Medic, the player may decide to draw the Krwiobus instead, discarding the Medic token.
The decision is made after the tokens have been drawn and before they are placed on the board.
Krwiobus is treated as a special unit with the rules described below.
Special Rule: Transfusion (Zasada specjalna: Transfuzja)
Krwiobus is the new form of the Medic. Instead of automatically protecting a unit, it allows a Transfusion (Transfuzja): redirecting Wounds between its own HQ (Sztab) and one of its own units.
Conditions (Warunki działania)
Krwiobus must be connected to its own HQ (Sztab) and to its own unit at the same time.
Effect (Efekt)
During Resolving Wounds (Rozpatrywanie Obrażeń), when:
- a connected unit would receive Wounds, or
- a connected HQ (Sztab) would receive Wounds,
the owner of the Krwiobus may decide to carry out a Transfusion. A Transfusion means moving all Wounds from one of these tokens to the other.
The player chooses one of the options:
- Unit → HQ (Jednostka → Sztab): the Wounds that the unit would receive are received by the HQ (Sztab) instead.
- HQ → Unit (Sztab → Jednostka): the Wounds that the HQ (Sztab) would receive are received by the indicated unit instead.
Important Rules (Ważne zasady)
- Although Krwiobus is treated as a Module (Moduł), the decision to activate Transfusion is voluntary and optional.
- A Transfusion applies only to Wounds from a single source being resolved at that moment.
- If a Transfusion reduces a token to 0 Toughness (Wytrzymałość), it is removed according to the normal rules.
- Krwiobus is not removed after its ability is used. It may perform Transfusion multiple times, as long as the connection conditions are met.
- Krwiobus does not take Wounds onto itself. It only redirects Wounds between the HQ (Sztab) and a unit.
- The target of a Transfusion in either direction may be a Netted (zasieciowana), paralysed (sparaliżowana), etc. unit. Krwiobus is treated as the initiator of the Transfusion.
