How to play

  • Deal out 3 chips to all players. The chips are kept close to each player.
  • Randomly choose the dealer, then that player deals out 3 cards to each player in clockwise direction. Put the cards left on the center of the table; treat them as the draw pile.
  • First, the dealer puts a card in his or her hand face down near the draw pile, and then turns that card up. Calls out the number of the card, then draws a card from the draw pile.
  • The turn is passed to the player on the left (clockwise direction). Whenever a player plays a TURN card, reverse the direction.
  • Each player must play a card in his or her turn. After he or she has played a card, he or she must call out the card. If it is a number card, add the number of that card to the previous sum. If the played card is a -1 card or -10 card, subtract its number from the sum instead of adding. Then, that player calls out the sum to all players.
  • When a player has played his or her card, he or she must draw a card. If a player played more than 1 card that turn, that player must draw cards to keep his or her hand exactly 3 cards at the end of the turn.
  • The sum will be increasing but it cannot exceed 101. Any player can prevent the sum from exceeding 101 by playing one of the following cards: -10, -1, PASS, TURN, SHOT, DOUBLE and 101.
  • A player who is forced to play a card that makes the sum exceed 101 is the loser of that round. That player must put a chip on the center of the table near the draw pile.
  • The loser of the last round is the dealer of the next round.
  • The player who runs out of chips must leave the game. The next round's dealer is the player on the left of the leaver.
  • The game ends when only one player remains with chips. That player is the winner of the game.
