Season 1 Episodes

1 - The Set Up (2 min)

Shuffle the Situation Cards, Content Cards, Plot Twist Cards, and Drama Cards separately. Put them into 4 piles, and place them within everyone's reach, like you would popcorn.

Each player draws 4 Content Cards and 4 Plot Twist Cards.

The player who most recently paid for a Netflix subscription becomes the first Judge. Give that player the Judge Token. The player to the left of the Judge takes the Drama Llama Token, and will be introducing Drama each round.

To begin the game, the Judge flips a Situation Card and reads it aloud to the group.

2 - The Recommendation (2 min)

All players besides the Judge will be pitching a new Netflix Recco that would work oh so perfectly well for the Situation Card.

To craft your perfect Netflix Recco, choose 1 of your Content Cards and pair it with the best Plot Twist Card you have in your hand. Place them facedown in front of you to lock in your Recco.

3 - You're So Dramatic (2 min)

It's time for the Drama Llama to stir the pot.

Once all players have locked in their Reccos, but before anyone reveals, the Drama Llama draws a Drama Card and reads it aloud. Follow the instructions on the card drawn for various effects!

4 - Judgement Day (2 min)

Once everyone is ready, reveal your Reccos one by one. After all Reccos have been pitched, the Judge chooses their favorite, awarding that player the Situation Card as a point.

5 - Refreshing Moments (1 min)

After the Situation Card has been awarded, all cards played can be discarded into their respective discard piles. All players draw back up to 4 Content Cards and 4 Plot Twist Cards.

Pass the Judge Token and the Drama Llama Token one player to the left. The Judge for the next round was the Drama Llama for this round.

The new Judge flips the next Situation Card and a new round begins.

6 - Season Finale (1 min)

When one player has 5 Situation Cards, that player is crowned Champion of the Remote. They are in charge of picking what the group is watching on Netflix until this game is played again.

Everyone other than the Champion of the Remote must clean up the game as the Champion proudly watches.
