Card Text
Hagia Sophia
537, Constantinople
- Type: Wonder (Progress Card).
- Victory Points: 4.
- Architect slots: 2 (two section boxes, each marked with an upward chevron).
- Construction cost: 2 of the red-coin resource and 1 Gold.
- Upkeep / per-Worker icons: a black circle showing -1 beside a grey icon, and a black circle showing -2 beside a grey icon. See gaps below.
- Effect (removal): "If least [crossed swords icon]: Remove."
Printed as "If least"; read as "If at least". The card is removed when the condition is met, following the base-rules removal rule ("Some Progress Cards state that it is removed if certain conditions are fulfilled, e.g. having at least Military Strength"). The removal condition can be met at any time, including during another player's turn.
Gaps and Judgment Calls
- Grey icons beside -1 and -2 (not identified): the photo is too low-resolution to name these icons with confidence. Their values are printed as printed (-1 and -2) and are not interpreted here. Check against a higher-resolution photo of the card before relying on them.
- Red-coin resource in the cost (not named): the card shows 2 red coins. The card does not name this resource, and the base key only says that red circles indicate a gain. The resource is not assumed here.
- Crossed swords in the removal condition: the base key lists the crossed-swords symbol as the expert-set mark. Its use in the effect text is read as the Military Strength condition, which matches the base-rules removal rule. This is an inference from the base rules, not a printed key entry for this symbol.
- Edge marks at the bottom of the card (not identified): two small vertical marks sit on the bottom border. They are not transcribed.
- Flavour line: the top line "537, Constantinople" is printed on the card and is kept as the card's date and place.
