Judges of the Underworld

Each Judge has a dashboard showing a name, card type line and two ability texts. The card types printed under each name are Leader, plus the Judge's other types as listed below.

Minos

Card types: Force of Nature, Mighty Throw, Leader

Deception

When a friendly unit is attacked, Minos may change the target to a different friendly unit within the attacker's range.

Deception has no effect against area or multiple attacks.

Tribute of Minos

At the end of Minos' activation, he may destroy a unit of enemy troops in his area.

If Minos does this, he regains 1 previously lost vitality.

Rhadamanthus

Card types: Gem Collector, Mighty Throw, Leader

Chain Strike

When Rhadamanthus wounds an enemy unit in an adjacent area, he may move that unit into his own area.

Talion Law

All friendly units in Rhadamanthus' surroundings may retaliate with +1 offence.

Aeacus

Card types: Mighty Throw, Leader, Guard

Jailer of the Underworld

Enemy units may only walk or run out of Aeacus' area if they first discard 1 art of war card.

Sentence of Exile

One use per game.

At the end of Aeacus' activation, choose an enemy unit in his area. Move this unit to any area in its own deployment zone.

Notes on this transcription

  • Stat tables not transcribed. Each dashboard has a stat table (the numbers in columns beside the ability texts, with coloured value markers from 1 to 7). In the available photographs these digits and icons are too small to read reliably, so no values are given here. Consult the printed dashboards for the Judges' stat values.
  • Icons not identified. The small timing and type icons beside each ability heading (hourglass, hand, star and similar) are not identified in this transcription, and no meaning is assigned to them.
  • Card type lines. The English card type lines are transcribed from the English printing. The French printing uses "Projection" where the English uses "Mighty Throw", and "Gardien" where it uses "Guard".
  • Spelling. The ability text on the Aeacus dashboard reads as "Aeacus" in the transcription; the printed spelling is taken from the card name on the English dashboard and was not independently confirmed at the photograph's resolution.
  • Language cross-check. Each English ability text was checked against the French printing (Duperie, Tribut de Minos, Chaîne des Enfers, Loi du Talion, Geôlier des Enfers, Condamnation à l'Exil). The rules agree in both.
