The Moth
Written rules text (BGG item description):
The Moth moves two spaces. One space down from on top of the Hive to ground level, then one space back up to finish on top of the Hive.
Rules diagram (titled "Moth"):
- When on the ground level, Moth moves up 1 and up 1.
- OR
- When on top of the hive, Moth moves up 1 and down 1.
Diagram illustrations:
- Ground level: a Moth on the ground shows a two-step green path running straight across the hexes, one hex per step, ending two hexes away.
- On top of the hive: a Moth on top of a hive piece shows green arrows (up 1) and orange arrows (down 1) radiating from its position. The two-step path it describes runs from its position on top of the hive, down one level to ground level, and back up one level to finish on top of the hive.

NB: The Mosquito can only mimic the movements of the Butterfly or Moth when adjacent to either piece on top of the Hive and not at ground level since they don't begin their movement there.
