Components

  • 60x Puzzle Cards
  • 8x Garden Boards (4x numeric boards, 4x alphabetic boards)
  • 4x Mirrors
  • 1x Rule Book

Game Setup

  1. Each player takes a mirror and a set of garden boards (one numeric and one alphabetic).
  2. Shuffle and make a deck of the puzzle cards facedown in the middle of the table.
  3. A player who visited a park most recently becomes the start player.

Game Play

  1. The start player opens the top card from the deck and sets it on the table.
  2. The round starts as the start player sets a puzzle card on the table. All players rush to make the garden shown on the card by using a mirror and two garden boards.

Creating a Garden

A garden is made up of either two sectors or four sectors.

  1. Lay your boards side by side to make a whole circle with the fountain located in the center. (Some of the sectors can be overlaid as shown on the second picture.)
  2. Lay your mirror along the lines that separate sectors with the center placed on the fountain to create a mirror garden.
  • You may freely use both sides of the boards.
  • Possible solutions are composed of one, two, or four sectors.
  1. If you think the reflected images of the garden match the garden on the puzzle card, call out the code (the numbers and/or the alphabets) on the boards. Read them from left to right. (For example, the code "23" is called out as "23!")
  2. The other players make the reflection with the code and check whether it is correct or wrong. If everyone agrees with the code, you take the puzzle card. If someone claims that the code is wrong, the players continue to play the round while you check the solution on the rule book. If you had it right, then you take the card; if not, then you stay out for this round.
  3. When the round ends, open the next card and play another round.

End of the Game

You will play multiple rounds, and whoever wins five puzzle cards first becomes the winner.

Solution Table

The puzzle number and the difficulty level are printed on the back of each puzzle card. Difficulty is shown by stars: Easy (one star), Normal (two stars), Hard (three stars).

Each entry lists the puzzle number, followed by its solution code.
