Game Flow
Each player receives 1 Milkuro card and places it in front of themselves.
1. Round Setup
The person who has most recently drunk milk is the first player (leader) to lead the trick. (In the subsequent rounds, the player to the left of the previous round's leader will be the next leader. This continues until everyone has been the leader.)
The leader shuffles all number cards face down and deals the following number of cards to each player.
2 players: 11 cards / 3 players: 11 cards / 4 players: 10 cards
Each player holds the cards dealt to them as their hand without revealing them to other players. The remaining number cards will not be used in this round.
2. Play Cards
Beginning with the leader, players take turns clockwise to play a number card from their hand face up in the play area. Place the cards in such a way that you know who played each card. Do not place them on top of each other.
The leader plays one of their cards as a Black or White card by announcing the color and placing the card with the announced color positioned closer to the center of the table. Other players each play a card as one matching the leader's announced color (with the color positioned closer to the center of the table).
When everyone has played a card, the player who played the highest number card (ignoring the numbers of the color that is away from the center) collects the cards placed in the play area. Then they place these cards face down in a pile next to their Milkuro card on the side of the color announced by the leader.
The player who won the trick becomes the next leader. Repeat these steps until everyone empties their hand.
Important: Keep each pile of face-down cards you have acquired ("trick") separately to indicate how many times you have won a trick. You cannot check what is on your acquired cards.
3. Scoring
When everyone has emptied their hand, calculate the score.
Each player counts how many times they have acquired "Black" and "White" cards by counting the number of the piles of their acquired cards on each side of their Milkuro card.
<If acquiring "Black" and "White" piles an equal number of times>
You gain points equal to the number of piles you have acquired.
- Example: 2 White piles and 2 Black piles, an equal number of times: 2 White, 2 Black → +4 pt
<If acquiring "Black" and "White" piles a different number of times>
You lose points equal to the number of piles you have acquired.
- Example: 2 White piles and 1 Black pile, a different number of times: 2 White, 1 Black → -3 pt
End of the Game
Each round consists of "1" to "3". End the game after playing a number of rounds equal to the number of players (3 rounds for 3 players, 4 rounds for 4 players). The player with the highest total score wins the game. In case of a tie, the tied players share the victory.
Rules for 2 Players
In "3. Scoring" and "End of the Game", apply the following rules.
Each player counts "the number of times" they have acquired [Black] and [White] cards. The player who has won them with fewer differences wins the round. The first player to win 2 rounds wins the game. Except for these differences, the rules are the same.
