Character Cards

These cards are dealt at random at the start of the game, face down. They allow players to gain special powers.

Players keep their power hidden and reveal it when they first use it. From then on, they benefit from these powers for the rest of the game.

Entrepreneur

• May match a bid (for example, play a 9 after a 9) at any time.

Investisseur

• Grants an M token for the majority (and the associated point). Spaces with an M token are considered adjacent to each other (as long as there are, of course).

Politicien

• Replaces the -1 tokens: when he retrieves them, he places them on districts (possibly different ones) that already have at least one token.
• The player never takes the "Archaeological Site" card.

Architecte

• Spaces on the border of the same colour are considered adjacent.
• "Trendy District" tokens score 4 instead of 3.
