Challenge yourself with your knowledge about Meat. Play the Food cards in the right order with limited information. And become the one and only true Meat Master!

Solo Setup

  1. Shuffle all the Food cards with the ingredient side facedown to form a draw pile.
  2. Draw 5 cards into your hand without looking at the ingredient side.
  3. Reveal one card from the pile and place it on the table with the ingredient side face up as the starting card.
  4. Choose one of the four types of ingredients to challenge in this game. You are ready to play!

Solo Gameplay

The goal of the game is to arrange Food cards in ascending order for the chosen ingredient levels.

  1. Choose one Food card from your hand and place it next to the starting card on the table so that the card with the lower ingredient level (the type you have chosen to challenge) is on the left.
  2. After a card is placed, flip the card and check if all cards on the table are arranged in ascending levels for the chosen ingredient type.
    • If the card is placed correctly, draw one card and continue the game.
    • If the card is placed wrongly, the game ends immediately.
  3. When the game ends, remove the last card that was placed wrongly. Count how many cards you have placed correctly and check your achievement by consulting the table below:

Components

  • Objective cards x12
  • Food cards x60 (each card has a name side and an ingredient side)
  • Summary cards x2 (Calories and Protein)
  • Cardholders x5

The ingredient side of a Food card shows the ingredient details of the food: calories, protein, fat, and cholesterol.

Setup

  1. Each player takes a cardholder and places it in front of them.
  2. Shuffle all the Food cards with the ingredient side facedown, and deal 3 cards to each player. Players are not allowed to look at the ingredient side of their cards during the whole game. Players then place their Food cards on the cardholder, with the ingredient side facing other players and the name side facing themselves.
  3. Shuffle the remaining Food cards and divide them into two piles on the table with the name side faceup.
  4. Place the Summary cards in the center of the table. Shuffle all the Objective cards to form a facedown draw deck. Draw three cards from the deck and place them next to the Nutrient Facts card.
    • In 2-player games, remove the four "Second Most" Objective cards from the game.
  5. The player who most recently just ate becomes the start player. Or, you can randomly choose a start player. You are ready to play!

Gameplay

  1. The start player chooses one of the three Objective cards as the objective for the round.

  2. Starting from the start player and going clockwise, each player chooses one Food card from their cardholder and plays it with the ingredient side facedown.

Friendly reminder: Before playing cards, you can gather information by observing the ingredient cards of other players. Such information can be used to predict, as players don't have clues of their own cards. In addition, open discussion is allowed during the game. Players can also deceive each other by giving out wrong information to manipulate other players' decisions.

  3. Once all players have played a card, reveal their ingredient side. Compare the cards and whose card best fits the criteria of the objective wins the round and takes the Objective card as a reward. Discard all the used Food cards into the discard pile.

Example: With the objective MOST Calories, the cards show 160, 54, 56 and 318 kcal. The 318 card best fits the criteria, so its player wins the round and takes the Objective card.

  4. Begin a new round by alternating the start player to the left.

  5. Refill the Objective cards on the table back to 3 cards. If the Objective card deck runs out, do not refill the deck. The game will continue with only two Objective cards on the table.

  6. Starting from the new start player, each player takes one card from one of the two Food card piles and places it on their cardholder with the ingredient side facing the other players.

When one of the two Food card piles runs out of cards, split the remaining pile into two new piles. If there is only one Food card left, shuffle the discard pile and form two Food card piles.

Friendly reminder: When choosing which Food card to take, you should pay attention to the cards on other players' cardholders (especially the start player) as well as the available Objective cards.

  7. Play continues by returning to step one. And the game ends when one player collects three Objective cards and wins the game.
