Object of the Game
Each player attempts to cross the board diagonally from their starting corner, while also building barriers to block their opponents. Be the first player to travel across the board to the opposite corner and you win!
Setup
Pick your color and collect the matching tokens and pawn.
To start the game, place your pawn on the round starting space matching your chosen team color.
Deal four cards to each player. Keep your cards secret; you don't want anyone knowing your strategy!
- Two Player: Deal six cards to each player.
On Your Turn
Play any card from your hand.
When finished playing your card, add it to the discard pile and draw a new card. Players should always have four cards in their hand.
Roll the dice and move your pawn the same number of spaces. Players can move vertically and horizontally, backward and forward, but may not move diagonally.
Players may pass each other and may land on the same space.
Players may not share a space with a wall barrier token.
- Two Player: Play two cards on every turn. For an added challenge, play with two pawns.
How to Win
Be the first to reach the opposite corner of the board before your opponents to win the game. Players do not need to roll the exact number in order to win the game.
Maze Cards
Build barriers using the shapes displayed on the maze cards to prevent opponents from reaching their goal. Must be played before the dice is rolled and your pawn is moved.
- Can be played anywhere on the board.
- Players can't pass through barrier walls and will need to navigate around them.
- You must leave at least one exit route for every player. This means you cannot completely surround any one player as this would effectively end the game.
- All wall patterns are reversible.
Action Cards
All action cards must be played before the dice is rolled and the player's pawn is moved.
- Buster: Remove one barrier wall token from anywhere on the board.
- Double Buster: Remove two touching barrier wall tokens from the board.
- Leap: Jump over one barrier wall token. Count each barrier token as one space. Players are not allowed to land on a barrier token but are always required to move their pawn the full number of spaces that are rolled. Players must roll a two or greater to leap a barrier wall.
- Double Leap: Jump two touching barrier tokens. Count each barrier token as one space. Players are not allowed to land on a barrier token but are always required to move their pawn the full number of spaces that are rolled. Players must roll a three or greater to leap a double stacked wall. This card can also be used to leap a single wall when rolling a two or greater.
- Lose A Turn: Choose any player to lose their next turn.
- Setback: Move an opponent's pawn one space.
- Double Setback: Move an opponent's pawn two spaces.
