World Breaker Hulk

Rage

World Breaker Hulk is the Villain version of Gladiator Hulk. The effect of his Rage card is only applied if his Master Plan card has a BAM! on it, being applied before any other effect of the BAM!.

Before resolving his BAM!, the effects on the Rage card must be applied. 1 movement token is removed from the Rage card and Hulk moves 1 Location towards the closest Hero with no Obedience Disk token. Hulk keeps removing tokens and moving until either he reaches a Location with any Heroes (even if none have an Obedience Disk) OR there are no more movement tokens on the Rage card. Hulk then proceeds to perform his BAM!.

Example: World Breaker Hulk resolves the Master Plan movement, ending his movement in a Location with no Heroes.

Memory of Caiera

Each time World Breaker Hulk ends his movement in a Location with a Memory of Caiera Threat, the damage of his BAM! effect increases by 1 for that turn. This means that if he ends the Master Plan movement on a Location with a Memory of Caiera Threat and then the additional movement from the Rage card takes him to another Location with a Memory of Caiera, his BAM! will deal 4 damage to 1 Hero in his final Location (2 for the BAM! + 1 for each Memory of Caiera where he ended his movements).

Obedience Disks

To discard the Obedience Disk token from another Hero, a Hero must spend 1 [yellow star icon] in their Location. Please note, however, that the Obedience Disk cannot be removed while the Hero is KO'd.

Team vs Team Mode

  • When a Hero spends [yellow star icon] to discard an Obedience Disk from another Hero (even if that Hero belongs to a different Team), they add the Threat token to their own Team's Clear Threats Mission.
  • The Villainous Plot is achieved when all members of one of the Teams have an Obedience Disk, causing all Heroes to lose the game.

Commander Solo Mode

World Breaker Hulk cannot be played in Commander Solo mode.

Sentry

In addition to his Hero cards, Sentry has 1 special Dark Entity card and 6 The Void cards. During Setup, the player using Sentry places the Dark Entity card faceup in front of them. Then, shuffle the 6 The Void cards and keep them aside in a facedown deck.

At the end of any turn, if there are 3 or more Crisis tokens on the Dark Entity card, discard them all and reveal the top card from The Void deck, immediately applying its effect. Then, put the card at the bottom of The Void deck.

Both the Dark Entity card and The Void cards are not considered Hero cards. They are not part of Sentry's hand or deck and can't be affected by any effect that affects Hero cards.

Ares and Hercules

Some of Ares' and Hercules' Hero cards have 2 symbols at the bottom, either of which can be chosen when played in the Storyline.

The Hero that plays such a card in the Storyline can choose only 1 of the 2 symbols to use during their turn. Then, the following Hero has the same choice, using either the same symbol or the other one.

These cards are considered to have only 1 symbol at the bottom for game effects. However, if 1 symbol is canceled (for example, by a Crisis token), the following Hero may still use the other symbol. In case the symbols at the bottom of the Hero cards are relevant for a game effect, for these cards, the Hero chooses which of the 2 symbols should be considered.

Example: Ares' "God of War" Hero card shows the card text "On the next Villain turn, Heroes may redirect any damage dealt to them by the Villain, first to a Henchman, if present, or to any Hero in their Location," with a movement symbol and a second symbol at the bottom, separated by "OR".
