How do the Scribe and Money Changer work?

Scribe: when you complete a contract, pay 1 less of the required items or take 3 extra points. Money Changer: a die on its space gives 8 coins, usable several times with no extra cost; once per round you can also return 1 good for 5 coins, without using your turn.
