If playing with fewer than 4 players, remove some Passenger tokens from the game:
- 4 players: remove none.
- 3 players (or 1 player): remove 3 of each color.
- 2 players: remove 5 of each color.

The sheet's banner "On your first turn" is printed under steps 10 to 12.
Mechs Rules
Mech Hubs
- Use Build Station to place your Mech Hub on an empty half hex where your track ends.
- After placing your Mech Hub, take your 2nd Mech and place it on any empty triple-wide action space. You may not build a Mech Hub if you don't have an empty triple-wide action space.
- Each player may only build 1 Mech Hub.
- Mech Hubs behave exactly like the Hub, except they can only hold 4 passengers (instead of 8).
- Any player may use any Mech Hub to which they are connected.
Mechs
- Mechs may only be placed on empty triple-wide action spaces.
- Each Mech maximizes units for that action.
- Use the Adjust Robots action to adjust Mechs for 1 unit.
- Adjusted Mechs may only be placed on already empty triple-wide action spaces.
Game End
- Game end is triggered when at least 1 station of each of the 4 commuter colors is built and the bag contains no passengers at the end of any player's turn.
- After game end is triggered, finish the current round and play 1 more round.
Mech Ability Clarifications
- Each Mech provides a special ability for that action (see the Mechs Guide for more details).
- The Capacity Mech ability allows you to carry 4 passengers on your train and 2 more placed on the Mech on your Player board. (The sheet prints "placd"; read as "placed".)
- Passengers may be moved between the train and the Mech at any time when the Capacity Mech ability is active.
- The Drop Off Mech ability allows you to Drop Off multiple passengers to different stations to which you are directly connected in a single action.
Monorails
Monorails Setup
-
Spin the Start Player token and give it to the player that the center middle tip of the M points to.

Shuffle the red and black Bonus card decks separately and count out cards from each deck equal to the number of players to form 2 decks. Give 1 deck to both the last and 2nd to last player. Each player chooses 1 card and passes the rest to the player to their left until all players have 1 card from each deck.
-
If playing with fewer than 4 players, remove some Passenger tokens from the game:
- 4 players: remove none.
- 3 players (or 1 player): remove 3 of each color.
- 2 players: remove 5 of each color.
-
Each player takes:
- 1 Train
- 1 VIP (placed in train)
- 18 Track tiles
- 1 Player board
- 1 Steel robot
- 1 Gold robot
- 1 Copper robot
Player 4 gets 1 extra robot of their choice.
-
Randomly place 3 starting robot stations on the gate spaces at the top of the map (do not place any robots on these stations).
-
Place the remaining stations in their spots around the edges of the map and place 1 passenger of the corresponding color on each station.
The sheet's banner "On your first turn" is printed under steps 11 and 12.
Monorails Rules
VIPs
- If you draw a VIP from the bag during a Refill Station action, it is placed on your current station like any other passenger.
- You may Pick Up VIPs if you have capacity.
- You may Drop Off VIPs at any station:
- Take a passenger from the bag that matches the color of that station when you Drop Off a VIP.
- Place the VIP back in the bag.
- If no passengers are in the bag of that color, you may not Drop Off the VIP there.
- You may Drop Off VIPs at stations you have not unlocked (allowing you to place passengers on your player board that you have not unlocked).
Refills
- Only Refill at the 3 gate stations.
New Bonus Cards
- These are treated like any other Bonus card; score only your highest Bonus card unless you have unlocked additional ones on your player board.
- 15/Loop: Gain 15 VPs if your only track on the map forms a connected loop at the end of the game.
- 4/Passenger on Train: score 4 VPs for each passenger on your train at the end of the game.
Connected Trains
- When another player's train leaves or passes through the station where your train is, you may follow them to any station they Move to or through on their turn, regardless of whether you have track there or not.
- If you don't have track at your new station, you must build it to your station from existing track in order to Move from that station (or you can wait to follow another train that Moves from or through your current station).
- Example (sheet illustration): The Orange train may follow the Yellow train to any station it moves to or through.
Game End
- The game end is triggered when at least 1 station of each of the 4 commuter colors is built and the bag contains no commuters (pink, coral, lilac, or purple passengers) at the end of any player's turn.
- There may be VIPs and/or robots in the bag at the game end.
- After the game end is triggered, finish the current round and play 1 more round.

Canyons
- Track costs 1 additional track unit per canyon in each hex with 1 or 2 canyons.
- Figure caption: Hexes with yellow circles cost 3 track units to build.
- Canyons count as rivers for Bonus cards.
Wrap Horizontally
- Track wraps horizontally around the planet.
- No additional movement unit is required for wrapping.
- Figure caption: Green track wraps to connect the Factory to the Warehouse to the Office, and blue track wraps to connect the Lab to the Factory.
Move Backwards Action
- Your train never changes direction (except when returning from Phobos or Deimos).
- Move Backwards action moves your train backwards without turning it around.
Phobos & Deimos
- Use Launch when at the center station to go to Phobos or Deimos.
- Use Launch when at Phobos or Deimos to return to the center station.
- Position your train in any direction when you Launch back from Phobos or Deimos.
- You do not need to unlock Coral or Purple in order to Launch, but you do need to unlock them in order to pick up those commuters.
- Place the Coral commuters in the bag when the first player arrives at Phobos, and place the Purple commuters in the bag when the first player arrives at Deimos.
- Drop Off Coral commuters on Phobos.
- Drop Off Purple commuters on Deimos.
- You may not Refill on Phobos or Deimos.
Game End

Moonbases Rules
Move Action
- Trains Move 4 links per unit or to the end of the line (whichever is shorter); you may not be able to stop at stations in the middle of your line.
- Trains always stop at the end of your line (they do not turn around automatically within an action if you have not travelled all allowable links).
Free Brakes
- When enabled, you may stop sooner than a normal Move.
- Free Brakes do not cost an action.
Free Reverse
- Free Reverse may reverse your train when you Move.
- Free Reverse does not cost an action.
- Free Reverse may be used at the end of your line when you would otherwise have to stop.
Moonbase Stations
- Each Moonbase station can hold up to 4 passengers.
- Refill only refills at your Moonbase station regardless of train location.
- If you Refill when your Moonbase station is full, all 4 passengers go in the bag before you draw new passengers.
- You may connect your track to any Moonbase, regardless of player color, and Pick Up passengers there.
Double Station
- The 2 central stations become 1 double station with 2 colors.
- To build the 2nd central station, you must have track connected to the 2nd empty station space.
- If a player has 3 or more tracks connected to the double station (because a station has been built there after they built their track), they must reduce those tracks to 2 connected to the double station before they take any other action.
- Figure caption: Example: Green may build a station here, creating a lilac-copper double station. Orange may not build a station there (the sheet prints "station station"), as the orange track does not connect to the empty space.
Game End
- Game end is triggered when at least 1 station of each of the 4 commuter colors is built and the bag contains no passengers at the end of any player's turn.
- After game end is triggered, finish the current round and play 1 more round.

Districts
- To build/remove track in colored districts or across district lines, those districts must be unlocked.
- Passengers of any color may go in each slot of the London Unlock Districts extension.
- Each space in the blue district contains a river (the lower right corner spaces without a river are not part of the blue district).
Commuter Access
- Unlocks are not required to build any station or to Pick up or Drop off any passengers.
Purple/Coral Districts
- Unlike the other 3 districts, the purple/coral districts are 4 distinct hexes with stations in them.
- Embassy & Studio stations may only be built in purple/coral districts (Baker Street, Hyde Park Corner, Bank, and Elephant & Castle).
- No other stations may be built in purple/coral districts.
- Figure caption: The purple/coral districts are circled in purple. The blue district is outlined in light blue.

Paris Rules
Strike Schedule
- If you have the Strike Schedule at the start of your turn, move the Strike Markers to both stations of the next color before you take your turn.
- If a bag is on that Strike Schedule station, pull 1 random passenger from the bag and place it on either striking station (as long as at least 1 of those stations is on the board).
- Pass the Strike Schedule to the right before you take your turn.
- After the last strike on each side, turn the Strike Schedule over.
Striking Stations
- Trains may not stop there (instead, they travel straight through to the next station without costing a move unit to do so).
- Trains already on the striking station may move away.
- Players may not pick up, drop off, or refill at striking stations.
- Early in the game Strike Markers may be on stations that have not been built yet; those stations may not be built and no passengers may be placed on them while there is a Strike Marker on those stations.
Strike Breakers
- Take a Strike Breaker token to ignore strikes for 1 turn.
- Strike Breakers are subtracted from your total at the end of the game (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6+ Strike Breakers for: 1, 3, 6, 10, 15, 21VPs).
Rivers
- The fancy blue lines on the map are rivers.
- It costs 2 Track units to build on a hex with 1 or more blue lines.
2 Player Game
- If you are playing Paris with 2 players, you'll need to wait one turn before passing the Strike Schedule to the other player.
- Strikes will occur every 3rd turn in a 2 player game.
Solo Game
- If you are playing Paris in solo mode, rotate the Strike Schedule at the beginning of each turn by 180° (when you get rid of a passenger from the bag).
- Figure captions: Start of game; Turn 1; Turn 2–Strike!
- When the strike schedule faces you again (so you can read it), that's when the next strike on the Strike Schedule takes place—every other turn.
Game End
- The game end is triggered when at least 1 station of each of the 4 commuter colors is built and the bag contains no passengers at the end of any player's turn.
- After the game end is triggered, finish the current round and play 1 more round.
