• The Market

The Market

Before the game, place the Market beside the game board. Place 1 of each type of component face up on the Market.

The Market becomes the eighth area of the City (Area I) and is resolved after the other 7 areas are completed each turn. During the Assignment Phase, you can assign workers to the Market, just like any other area of the board.

When the Market is resolved, players with workers there may exchange 1 or 2 components from their hand for cards in the Market. These exchanges are made in order, like other City areas, and do not cost any Florins. Components exchanged at the Market remain there, face-up, for future exchanges.
