At the start of the game, each player receives one of these cards and places it face up in front of them. The card counts as already built; it is a landmark that is in play from the start.
With fewer than four players, the surplus cards stay in the box.
Special Rule: Crooked Dice
Once per turn, if 1 or 2 dice do not land flat ("auf der Kippe" in the German text), the player receives 3 coins from the bank.
If the player rolls 2 dice, it does not matter whether one or both dice are not lying flat. The payout is the same.
"Not lying flat" means the dice do not lie clearly (unambiguously) on their faces. The player then rolls the same number of dice again.
If, in the same turn, one or both dice again do not land flat after the reroll, the player does not receive the 3 coins a second time.
