Setup

  1. Place the two toilet cards in the middle of the table.
  2. Place the 5 clean up cards to the left of the toilet cards.
  3. Shuffle the 72 people cards and deal 11 cards to each player.
  4. Give a scoring overview card to each player.
  5. Set the remaining people cards face down next to the clean up cards.

Snub pile

A pile of face down people cards in front of the player (showing toilet paper roll). Cards in the snub pile are negative points at the end of the set.

Toilet line rules

Players will place people in line to the right of each toilet. In each line there can be only one card of each color or number. When a line has 5 people in it a cleanup occurs.

Clean up

The player placing the 5th card takes the first 4 cards and places them face down in his/her snub pile. The 5th card slides to the right of the toilet. In addition the player also takes a clean up card and places it face up in front of him/herself.

Game Round

The game is played over 3 sets, with each set consisting of 11 rounds. Each round consists of the following three phases:

  1. Each player selects one card and places it face down in front of him/herself. After all players have chosen a card all the cards are flipped face up.
  2. The player with the lowest card places his/her card in either line if possible (ie. there are not any matching colors or numbers in the line the player wishes to place the card in). Then the player with the highest card places his/her card in the line of his/her choice if possible.
  3. All other players place his/her card face down in front of them in the player's snub pile.

If a card cannot be placed because the color or number of the card is already in line then the player must place the card face down on the snub pile and take an additional card (face down) from the people deck and add it to his/her snub pile.

If the same number is played by multiple players in the same turn when the cards are flipped face up: red has the lowest value, then yellow, then green, then blue, then orange and finally gray. This order is on the toilet card on the bottom in the arrow.

After the 11th round has finished, scoring occurs.

Clean up Cards

  • If a player has 1 clean up card he/she subtracts one toilet paper roll from his/her snub pile.
  • If a player has 2 clean up cards he/she subtracts two toilet paper rolls from his/her snub pile.
  • If a player has 3 clean up cards he/she has a score of 0 (no negative points).

Scoring

The players then count the cards (toilet paper rolls) in their snub piles. The players refer to the scoring overview cards for the amount of negative points he/she will receive depending upon the number of cards (toilet paper rolls) in his/her snub pile.

Record each player's negative points (0 is the best possible score, you cannot have positive points) on a piece of paper. Shuffle the 72 people cards, place the clean up cards back in a pile next to the toilet cards and begin another set by dealing each player 11 cards. At the end of the 3rd set the player with the lowest negative score is the winner.
