An Egg is a face-up enemy that does not move or strike; other cards skip over its space. It does nothing until an Event is revealed while it is face up, then it is removed and a Facehugger goes in front of the player who revealed the Event. Every face-up Egg hatches, so two Eggs give two Facehuggers. You can also simply kill an Egg (3 Attack) before it hatches; that creates no Facehugger.
