How many conversions can the Coal Trader make per visit?
The designer confirmed the fix in 2009; the rulebook text has not been updated.
At most 5 per visit. The designer confirmed the building was changed after the original card allowed unlimited exchange of food into coal; the corrected card says 5x, applies at every player count and was in later printings. Note the rulebook's text still shows the uncapped exchange (1 food for 1 charcoal, or 2 food for 1 coal).
