Game Idea

The children, with a bit of help from the die, try to pick the fruits from the trees before the raven reaches his nest.

Preparation of the Game

Place the game board in the center of the table. Distribute the fruits on their corresponding trees. Place the raven on the ladder, where he begins. Get the die ready.

How to Play

Play in a clockwise direction, taking turns. Whoever has eaten an apple today, may start and rolls the die.

What appears on the die?

• A color? Pick a fruit of the corresponding color and place it in front of you. If the tree in question has already been harvested you may collect a fruit of your choice.
• The raven? Bad luck! The raven flutters to the next tree and pinches a fruit from there. Place a fruit from this tree in his nest. If the tree has already been harvested the raven doesn't take any fruit.

Then it's the turn of the next player to roll the die.

End of the Game

The game ends as soon ...

• ... as all the fruits have been picked. You have won together.

Or

• ... the raven reaches his nest before all the trees have been harvested. The raven wins the game.
