While the survivor has 3 or more insanity, all damage to hit locations becomes brain damage, including damage that armor would otherwise absorb. Below 3 insanity the disorder is dormant. Because it stops survival being spent while active, an insane Immortal survivor who rolls a 1 on Overwhelming Darkness dies.
