In what order is a hit's damage applied to armor, injury boxes and severe injuries?

One point at a time: armor first, then the light injury box, then the heavy box (which knocks the survivor down when filled), and all remaining damage is spent on a single severe injury roll for that hit. Only one severe injury comes from a single hit, but each hit location die can cause its own.
