Components

106 playing cards:

  • 21 cards of value "3"
  • 20 cards of value "4"
  • 20 cards of value "5"
  • 24 cards of value "6"
  • 21 cards of value "7"

Setup

All cards are dealt evenly to the players. If one or two players receive an extra card, that does not matter. Each player shuffles their own cards and places them face down in front of them as a personal draw pile. The top three cards of each draw pile are taken into hand. The youngest player begins.

Playing a Turn

The player whose turn it is plays up to three cards face up into the middle of the table. At least one card must be played. Afterwards, the player draws cards from their draw pile until they again have three cards in hand. Then the player to their left takes their turn.

Laying Out Cards

The card values "3" to "7" are laid out next to each other. Cards with the same value are placed under one another in a row – that is, the 3s in one row, or the 7s in one row (see below).

Complete Card Rows

A card row is complete when the number of cards in it equals the value of the cards. For example, a row is complete when the third "3" is placed in the 3s row.

The player may then take the row and place it face up next to their draw pile. The free space left behind can then be used to start a new row with that value, including by the player who has just taken the row.

Note: A player may take several card rows in a single turn.

Example: Dario plays a "3" and a "4". He takes the 3s row and the 4s row and places them face up in front of him.

End of Game

The game ends as soon as a player has played their last card (face-down draw pile and cards in hand) and has finished their turn.

The player with the most cards wins. The values of the cards play no role in the final count.
