Rules

Place a small stack of cards, face down, in the middle of the table.

The player with the lowest IQ is designated the "Juduku Master."

The Juduku Master draws the first card from the stack and asks the question to their left-hand neighbour (so you'd better be able to read!), who has 8 seconds to answer.

For the 8 seconds, download the Juduku app from your smartphone's app store (or go to www.juduku.com/pages/app), or use your phone's countdown timer (if you are all running low on battery, count on your little fingers).

If the answers, given in less than 8 seconds, are accepted by the Juduku Master, the player who answered keeps the card and scores 1 point. Otherwise, nobody scores a point.

The player seated to the left of the Juduku Master becomes the Juduku Master in turn. It is then their job to draw the next card from the stack, ask the question to their left-hand neighbour, and so on.

The first player to score 7 points (so you'd better be able to count!) is declared the winner.

This brilliant and cultured being will then become the flag bearer of the Juduku Olympic team!

Variants

"Heatwave" variant (for veterans)

Same rules as above with this refreshing addition: each time you score a point, you give a sip of your drink to the player of your choice; if you lose, you drink.

"Scapegoat" variant

Instead of systematically asking the question to their left-hand neighbour, the Juduku Master chooses the player to ask. It is then the job of the player seated to the left of the Juduku Master to ask a question to the player of their choice, and so on.

Special Cards

There are 6 special cards.

Shotgun: Draw 3 cards and chain your left-hand neighbour with 3 questions in a row (8 seconds each). If they answer each of the 3 cards correctly, they score 3 points; if they block on a single card: absolutely nothing, nada, zilch.

Classic (Classico): Draw a card and subtly designate 2 players who must answer it at the same time. The Juduku Master chooses the winner!

Round for Everyone (Tournée générale): Draw a card. Everyone answers it. The Juduku Master chooses the winner!

Cut-and-Switch (Coupé-décalé): Your left-hand neighbour must answer differently the question asked on the previous turn (without you asking the question again). If they succeed, they score the point and take the corresponding question card (stealing it from the previous player if necessary).

Choirboy (Enfant de chœur): Draw a card and you are obliged to answer it without vulgarity (if the question is dirty, use all your subtlety and good upbringing).

DSQ: Draw a card and you are obliged to answer it with salacious stuff.

If a special card makes you draw another special card, that second card is randomly put back into the stack and you draw a new card.
