  • Roll 5–6 (the two dice faces pictured): SUCCESS – Gain 1 Ration.

Trappings

Alchemy Satchel

When equiped, all potions have zero weight. [sic – "equiped" as printed on the card]

Loot

Madman's Helm

Subtract 1 from initial damage and add 1 to sum of your damage rolls. Once equipped, you may not remove it from your inventory.

Morthal's Orb

Whenever you draw a skirmish card you may look at the top enemy card before choosing to resolve.

Grubrot's Fang

Whenever your combat roll results in at least one matching pair, add 5 to your sum.

Wrenna's Remedy

Discard to gain 4 health and 2 energy, while suffering 1 poison.

Boss

Hive Mother

Successful initial attacks double your current poison level.

Enemies

Embermander (2 cards)

If you defeat the Embermander you may draw a random potion instead of a loot card.

Emberwasp (3 cards)

Emberwasps do not deal damage, but if they successfully hit they instead deal 1 poison and steal 1 energy.

Plots

The Old Elm

Rest under the Elm?

You nestle yourself into the warm moss that grows around the base of the tree and fall into a deep sleep.

Gain 3 energy.

Search around the Elm?

You search high and low around the tree and after some time you find a few morel mushrooms hiding in some nearby underbrush.

Gain 2 rations.

The Vagabond

Give the man some food?

You tell the man to keep his coin and you give him some of your own food.

Lose 1 ration.

Move up 1 on the morality track.

Well he doesn't need that coin?

You push the old man aside and rip the coin from his hand with a hardy laugh.

Gain 1 gold.

Move down 1 on the morality track.

Fire Scorpion

If you defeat the Fire Scorpion you gain 1 [eye icon].

[Transcriber note: the icon at the end of this line is too small in the card scan to identify with certainty. It appears to be the round eye symbol printed in the bottom-right corner of the Plot cards.]

Map

The Map card is a board tile with no written rules text.

Transcriber Notes

  • Card flavour text (other than the insert's setup flavour above), the stat numbers and the coin, eye and weakness icons are not transcribed. Their meanings are explained in the base Iron Helm rulebook.
  • Dice faces on the Hawking card are shown as pictures. They are transcribed above as the number ranges the pictured faces show (1–2, 3–4, 5–6).
  • The insert card's setup text lists the base-game cards to remove, which are not part of this pack. The Boss line is transcribed as printed.
