1. Contents and Setup
Components:
- 1 rulebook
- 1 board
- 4 sealed investigation sheets (Fiches d'enquête scellées)
- 12 Juror cards
- 24 Final Vote cards (12 "guilty" and 12 "not guilty")
- 1 Final Revelation envelope
Warning: Intime Conviction contains secret elements to be opened during play. Reveal them only when indicated!
- Juror cards (1): reveal in ascending numerical order.
- Investigation sheets (3): reveal when indicated.
- Final Revelation (5): reveal at the end of the game.
Setup:
- Place the board (1) in the centre of the table.
- Deal all the Juror cards (2), one at a time, in ascending numerical order, to each Juror. Each player places their Juror card or cards in front of them, face down. (If there are fewer than 12 players, some will have several Juror cards.)
- Keep the 4 sealed investigation sheets (3), the Final Vote cards (4) and the Final Revelation (5) close at hand.
2. Gameplay
The Juror cards drive the game. They send the players towards investigation elements, questions for debate and special actions.
Reveal your Juror card only on your turn and in ascending numerical order!
When revealing the content of your Juror card, read it aloud (unless it says otherwise).
Carry out the action of your card before moving on to the next one.

3. Votes
Several votes can take place during the game.
Show of hands: To get an idea of where the other players stand, any Juror may call a show of hands at any moment of the debate: "Who thinks the accused is guilty or not guilty?"
Final vote: At the end of the game, the final vote that determines the verdict is held anonymously using the Final Vote cards ("guilty" and "not guilty"). 1 player = 1 vote.
The decision reached is always by simple majority (half of the jurors + 1).
The Final Vote invites you to set up a small ritual. In the envelope? In another room? It's up to you to imagine it!
4. End of the Game
The game ends when 3 conditions are met:
- All 12 Juror cards have been revealed and their actions carried out.
- The Final Vote has been held and a majority has been reached! If no majority is reached, the debate continues until one of the jurors moves to one side or the other of the balance. In that case the Final Vote may be repeated several times.
- The verdict has been announced.
Show creativity to create the atmosphere of your closed-door session! Set aside phones and mobile devices, and stop debating during toilet breaks ("the session is adjourned!"), etc.
5. Final Revelation
Once the verdict has been delivered, the Final Revelation can be revealed. Discover together a new piece of information!
The verdict determines the judicial truth. Ideally, this judicial truth matches reality.
In Intime Conviction, the Final Revelation either confirms your decision or, on the contrary, casts doubt on it: a small "extra" compared with the real experience of a popular jury!
Compare your ideas with those of the other members of the jury!
Is your decision in line with the Final Revelation? If so, you have won!
Over Several Days?
Each day, reveal one or more Juror cards in ascending numerical order and carry out their actions.
In this way you come closer to the real experience of a popular jury (which spreads over several weeks).
To keep track, make a list of the characters involved in the case!
