Setup

1. Give each player a Basic Barrage Card to add to their hand of Tactic Cards, bringing the card total to 8. Return unused Basic Barrage Cards to the box.
2. Shuffle the 48 Booster Cards in a face-down deck and deal each player 3 cards, bringing their hand's card total to 11.
3. Designate an area next to the Booster Deck for discarded Booster Cards.

Barrage Cards

Each player receives the all-new Barrage Tactic Card.

This tactical addition is specifically designed to overcome even the most stalwart Barricades, however is notably weak against Conscripts.

Gameplay Overview

There are now 2 types of Tactic Cards:

• Basics are the 8 cards you start the game with. When you play one of these cards, they always return back to your hand.
• Boosters are enhanced versions of the Basics and can be played the same way, however after being played they are then discarded. There is a maximum limit of 3 Booster Cards in your hand of Tactic Cards at any time.

The sheet illustrates this with an example Basic Tactic card showing "0 Fight" and "No bonus effect".

Drawing New Boosters

At the start of each subsequent Round after the first, starting with the First Player, players may discard any number of Booster Cards from their hand then draw back up to the max of 3 Boosters. If ever the deck is empty, shuffle the discards and form a new deck.

Types of Boosters

This module adds 3 new Booster types, each enhancing the Tactics differently:

• Ambush - Gain the upper hand by initiating stronger damage earlier in the game. These Tactics require fewer resources to execute, do not have specific unit requirements, and allow for decisive and powerful battle outcomes.
• Mystic - Turn the tides of battle with these magical Tactics that provide bonus actions, surprise maneuvers, and more. Unleash the power of mystic forces to outwit and outmaneuver your opponents.
• Heroic - To seize your crown, you must battle boldly! These costly, high-scoring Tactics guarantee the victory points needed to secure your triumph.
