Unexpected Threats
Printed on the "New Rules" card.
This card features rules for Unexpected Threats, a new kind of Deck of Doom card (each marked with the A icon) that bring hard-hitting enemies - even Bosses! - into play without warning. Many Case File setup cards will call for a single A card; in this case, shuffle all of the cards with that icon, then add one at random (without looking at it) to the Deck of Doom.
If one of these cards is drawn during the game, refer to the rules on the back of this card.

Unexpected Threat: Counting Fingers
Printed on the Unexpected Threat card "Counting Fingers" (marked with the A icon). Header: "Unexpected Threat (See the Unexpected Threats rules card)". Enemy: Baba Yaga.
Put this card into play.
Set up Baba Yaga as far as possible from any Agents, while still no more than two rooms away from an Agent.
Put a trigger marker on the Boss Behaviour deck. While it is there, Baba Yaga is not activated in the Enemy phase. Remove the marker if an Agent enters her room.
In the Doom phase, set up a Minion A in Baba Yaga's area.
Remove Baba Yaga and discard this card once she has suffered 8 damage.

Set up a Minion A in each area that contains any Agents.

Set up a Minion D in Baba Yaga's area. For the duration of the phase, its Melee Attack is increased by 3.
Otherwise:
Set up a Minion D in the closest area to Baba Yaga that contains any Agents. For the duration of the phase, its Melee Attack is increased by 3.
