Goal
The goal of the game is to be the first to find the ghost that is hidden each time and to collect as many ghost cards as possible.
Preparation
Before you begin, a few preparations:
Each player takes a castle board and places it open in front of them. The eight different ghosts are shown on the castle boards. Look at these carefully.
Shuffle the ghost cards and place them as a face-down stack in the middle. Each ghost card shows seven ghosts. One of them is therefore always missing. But which one?
Midnight – The Haunting Begins
The player who can make the most gruesome grimace begins. They draw a ghost card from the stack and place it face up beside the stack. When turning the cards over, make sure that all players see the card at the same time.
And now it's off! Everyone tries to find the missing ghost and call it out loudly by its name. Whoever manages it first collects the ghost card.
Then, in turn, the next player turns over a card, and the ghost hunt begins again.
End of the Haunting
The haunting ends when no ghost cards remain. The player who has then collected the most ghost cards wins the game!
