On the East map, when can I use the permanent bonus marker of a sea route?
At the end of the Establishing a Trade Route action, after prestige and any office, immediately or not at all; it is part of the action, so it can still be used if that action reaches 20 points. It cannot be used mid-claim and normal placement requirements still apply.
