What happens to my traders and merchants on a route I claim, especially if I take no office?
The rulebook says that unless you take an office, skill or prestige, all route resources return to the stock.
All of the pieces on the route go back to the general stock (they must be bagged again to be used) except the one you place as an office, if you take that option. This happens even when you place no office and claim only for points or a bonus marker.
