58 cards with hands, instructions
Objects
Whoever has the least amount of cards in front of him at the end of this fun game wins!
Preparation
Shuffle all cards and place them face down in a pile in the middle of the table. The players sit around the table and hold their hands close to their bodies. The youngest player begins and is the referee of the first round.
How to Play
The referee quickly turns over the top card. Now all players must move their hands into the position pictured as quickly as they can. The slowest player loses and, as a penalty, must place the card in front of him face down.
The loser of the previous round is the referee of the next round.
The referee decides who is the slowest. He also checks to see that players have positioned their hands correctly. If he cannot decide, the card is not distributed. In this case, he remains the referee and the loser of the next round also receives that card.
Attention: Impossible Hand Positions
A few hand positions pictured on the cards are impossible to reproduce! If such a card is turned over, the players are not allowed to place their hands on the table, but instead must assume one of the following positions:
- Arms on the card positioned parallel: Cross arms in front of chest.
- Arms on card crossed: Hold arms up in the air and parallel to each other.
End of Game
The game ends after the last card is turned over. The player with the fewest cards wins.
Variations
- Fun with partners: Each pair of players sits shoulder to shoulder. The partner on the right is in charge of the right hand positions, and the left partner is in charge of the left hand. This variation is especially suitable for 6 or 8 players.
- Fun with kids: Use only the cards with parallel hands. (This means that, in the case of impossible cards, hands are always crossed in front of the chest.)
