Object of the Game

Whoever has collected the most points by the end of the game wins.

Game Setup

The answer tiles are carefully punched out of the punch sheet. The game board is laid on the table. Each player receives one game piece and three answer tiles (a, b, c) of the same colour. When playing with two players, the answer tiles are not needed.

The cards are shuffled and dealt as follows:

  • With two players, each player receives 9 cards.
  • With three players, each player receives 6 cards.
  • With four players, each player receives 5 cards.

Each player places his card stack in front of him, card back facing up.

The Game

The youngest player begins, and play proceeds clockwise.

The player whose turn it is takes his top card, turns it over, and reads the question and the three answers aloud, with their corresponding letters. The other players now consider which answer is correct. In doing so, they should discuss the question and the answers, exchange opinions, and try to lead the other players onto a false trail.

Each player then places the answer tile he believes is correct, face down, on the abc field of the game board. Once every player has placed a tile, the player whose turn it is reads out the correct answer. It is marked with an asterisk ("*"). The answer tiles are then turned face up.

When playing with two players, the player who has to answer simply tells the questioner which answer he considers correct.

Scoring

Each player who knew the correct answer together with other players receives 10 points. If a player alone knows the correct answer, he receives 20 points.

The questioner receives 10 points for each wrong answer.

When playing with two players, the player who gives the correct answer always receives only 10 points.

According to their points, the players move their game pieces on the game board.

The Next Question

After scoring, the next player takes his top card, turns it over, and reads the question and answers aloud to his fellow players, and so on.

End of the Game

As soon as the last of the dealt questions has been answered, the game ends. The winner is the player with the highest point total.

In case of a tie, all tied "winners" take a new card. After all questions have been read and answered, it is checked again whether there is a final winner. If not, play continues until one winner is determined.
