18 Special Cards (2 sets, 9 each), 1 Vinyl Zipper Bag, 1 Game Instruction.
How to Play
After game preparation is complete, participant players receive two cards. After secretly checking out the cards for themselves, the players then can start the game. The players can use their card anytime on their turns. A card that has been shown and used, cannot be used again. The game can end without using all cards held by the players and the remaining cards do not affect the outcome of the game.
Providing Cards
When a first player becomes a dealer, the first player deals out the cards in reverse order, starting with a last player.
- Six players: deals out the cards in 4 cards - 4 cards - 3 cards - 3 cards - 2 cards - 2 cards arrangement.
- Five players: deals out the cards in 4 cards - 3 cards - 3 cards - 2 cards - 2 cards arrangement.
- Four players: deals out the cards in 4 cards - 3 cards - 2 cards - 2 cards arrangement.
- Three players: deals out the cards in 4 cards - 3 cards - 2 cards arrangement.
- Two players: deals out the cards in 6 cards - 4 cards arrangement.
For players who have received more than 3 cards, the players keep 2 cards (two players - 4 cards) and not showing the cards to the opposing players, discreetly discard the remaining cards. After discarding is complete, the game starts. (The players can modify the game by giving additional card to a last player or dealing out more than 2 cards to all participant players.)
How to Use Special Cards
Each card is shown on the sheet with a diagram and the effect printed beside it. The text below is the authority for each effect.
- If it is blocked by other block, upon showing this card, a player can jump one space over that is connected with the outward line of apex.
- If it is blocked by other block, upon showing this card, a player can jump over to one space where sides are directly facing each others.
- If it is blocked by other block, upon showing this card, a player can jump over to two spaces where sides are directly facing each others.
- If placing a block adjacently gives a player the game advantage, then, upon showing this card, the player can place a block where it touches one side.
- If placing a block adjacently gives a player the game advantage, then, upon showing this card, the player can place a block where it touches two sides.
- If placing a block adjacently gives a player the game advantage, then, upon showing this card, the player can place a block where it touches three sides.
- If all the spaces that are connected with the outward line of apex are blocked, then, upon showing this card, a player can place a block in next space where sides are directly facing each others. However, it cannot jump over blocked blocks.
- If all the spaces that are connected with the outward line of apex are blocked, then, upon showing this card, a player can place a block in two spaces over where sides are directly facing each others. However, it cannot jump over blocked blocks.
- If a player made a mistake with previous block placement, upon showing this card, the player then can retract the past mistake and can place a block in an unoccupied space. This card is additional action card, and thus, the player upon using this card does not mean that the player's turn is over. The player after exchange of blocks can place a block. However, he or she cannot use other additional special card consecutively and place a block.
Notes
- The sheet's text reads "areblocked" in the apex-line effect and "blocks. However" in the retraction effect; these are read as "are blocked" and "blocks. However".
- Wording such as "each others", "blocked blocks" and "the game advantage" is transcribed as printed.
