1 drone*, 1 base**, 4 launch ramps, 12 ghosts, 1 USB charging cable and these instructions.
* contains a non-replaceable lithium-ion battery.
** runs on 4 AAA batteries, which are not included in the game.
Object of the Game
Be the first to help your ghosts escape with the drone.
Setup and Preparation
Have an adult carry out the setup.
1. Charging the drone
The drone must be charged before every game. Use only the USB charging cable and a standard charging adapter. Charge the drone for about 10 minutes.
2. Setting up the base and the launch ramps (after charging the drone)
Attach the 4 launch ramps to the base (Fig. 1). Place the drone in the base - an LED lights up green when the drone is correctly placed and fully charged.
Each player chooses a ghost colour and sits behind the launch ramp of the matching colour. Place one of your ghosts in front of the ghost catapult located at the end of the launch ramp (Fig. 2). Put your remaining ghosts next to the launch ramp.
All players should first practise catapulting the ghosts. Always put one of your own ghosts in front of the ghost catapult, quickly press the coloured lever and let the ghost dash along the launch ramp. Your aim is to get the ghost onto the free spot in the drone. When everyone has practised enough, it can begin!
The Escape Begins!
Each player places one of their ghosts on the launch ramp and puts a finger on the lever of their catapult.
Count together "3...2...1...START!" and catapult your ghosts over the launch ramps. The escape begins! All players try to get their ghosts into the drone in order to fly away! When a ghost lands in the drone, it takes about 3 seconds before the drone takes off. In the meantime, the other players have time to use their ghost to push the opponent's ghost out of the drone and take the spot themselves.
As soon as the drone lifts off, the ghost in the drone has successfully escaped. It makes off, and the player is one flight closer to winning the game.
Caution! Very important!
- Keep the drone away from faces as soon as it starts!
- Never put fingers, hands, tongue or any other body parts into the drone's propellers!
- Always wait until the drone has come to a complete standstill before removing ghosts from the drone!
- Catch the drone only when it is already descending again after the motor has stopped. Never grab at or into the propellers when catching. Grab only the lower part of the drone.
Notes
The drone can sometimes take off with more than one ghost. In this case, all ghosts that found room in the drone have escaped successfully.
Even if the drone lifts off only a few centimetres, the ghost's escape has succeeded!
During the game it can happen that ghosts overshoot the target and are even catapulted off the table. That is part of the turbulent escape! Get up quickly and collect your ghosts again.
All ghosts that have escaped are out of the game. Set them aside; you may not use them again in this game. The closer you get to victory, the fewer ghosts you have available. This makes it harder and harder towards the end to be the first to reach the drone.
The Escape Has Succeeded! Who Is the Winner?
The first player who has helped their three ghosts escape with the drone wins. In case of a tie there is a tiebreaker. All players involved in the tie may compete once more. Whoever then starts the drone with their ghost and flies away wins!
