Office Promo Card

This is a double-sided Company card. It shows an ex-workshop building in Moscow, built in 1890. The basic side is used from the start. The upgraded side is used once the card has been upgraded (flipped over).

Basic side

Compensation effect (above the divider line): Gain 2 Money (two Money coins).

Basic effect (fully coloured symbols): Discard 1 Coal, 1 Iron and 1 Oil to gain 8 Money. The limit is ×1, so this may be resolved once.

Additional effect (transparent symbols): Discard 1 Coal, 1 Iron and 1 Oil to gain 8 Money. The limit is ×1, so this may be resolved once. The symbols are transparent, so this effect is not resolved while the card is placed basic side up. It becomes available once the card is upgraded.

Upgraded side

There is no compensation effect on the upgraded side.

Upgraded effect (fully coloured symbols): Discard 1 Coal, 1 Iron and 1 Oil to gain 8 Money. The limit is ×2, so this may be resolved up to two times.

Notes

  • Icons written as words. Coal is the coal cube. Iron is the iron bar. Oil is the oil drum. Money is the gold coin. A transparent (faded) silver coin on the basic side is the transparent Money symbol for the additional effect. The number above an arrow is the limit on how many times the processing can be resolved.
  • Source layout. The scans show the basic side with two processing lines: a fully coloured line with a gold Money coin, and a transparent line with a silver Money coin. The upgraded side shows one fully coloured processing line with a gold Money coin and the ×2 limit. The lines are transcribed as printed.
  • Judgement call on the additional effect. The BGG item description lists the additional effect as the same conversion (8 Money) with the ×2 limit applying once upgraded. The scans print the ×2 limit only on the upgraded side, and the transparent line on the basic side has a ×1 limit. This file follows the scans. The ×2 limit is shown on the upgraded side only.
  • Gap: the scans show no separate effect for the upgraded side's additional line. Under the Furnace base rules, an upgraded card resolves both its basic and additional effects, and the upgraded side is transcribed here exactly as printed, with one line.
