1 fox with trousers, 21 chickens, 4 chicken coop cards, 1 die, 1 sticker sheet, instructions.
Goal of the Game
Be the first to bring 5 chickens safely back into the coop.
Preparation
Before the first use of the game, attach the stickers to the fox's eyes, tongue and underpants.
- Attach the 6 round stickers to the die as shown in the illustration. The die faces are marked with 1s and 2s.
- Assemble the two chicken parts as shown in the illustration.
Fox setup:
- Move the arms into the upper position.
- Turn the fox over and pull the cord under its feet.
- Pull the trousers up to the hip and move the arms back into the lower position.
Place the fox in the middle of the playing table. Put all the chickens together in one pile. Each player receives a chicken coop.
Gameplay
The player who can imitate a chicken best starts. Play then continues clockwise.
On your turn, roll the die and put the corresponding number of chickens into the fox's pockets. You may choose freely which pocket to use.
Before your turn ends, you must press the fox's head once until you hear a click. If nothing happens, the next player is up.
Watch out! Because the fox is so greedy, his trousers will slip down at some point! When that happens, you must not lose any time and must rescue the chickens as quickly as possible! Collect the chickens one by one and place them on your chicken coop card. Be careful: you may only collect the chickens with one hand!
End of the Game
Each chicken coop has 5 free spaces. The first player to bring 5 chickens safely into their coop calls "Fuchs-Alarm!" and is the winner of the game.
Notes (Hinweise)
- The chickens may only be collected with one hand.
- If there are no chickens left on the pile, press repeatedly on the fox's head until his trousers slide down.
- If two players call at the same time, both have won.
- To avoid blocking the trousers mechanism, do not leave your hand resting on the head after pressing. A light press until the click sound is enough.
