Components

  • 4 tablecloths with dishes
  • Order cards
    • 22 turquoise order cards (standard)
    • 20 orange order cards (for advanced players)
  • 3 wooden tokens
  • 12 stars

Objective

Cook the dishes shown on the revealed card faster than everyone else, and fulfil the order!

All players play at the same time. To fulfil an order, a player must fold their tablecloth so that it shows only the dishes pictured on the revealed order card.

As soon as there are no wooden tokens left in the middle of the table, the round ends. If you fulfilled the order incorrectly, or fulfilled it last, discard one of your stars.

If a player discards all of their stars, they are out of the game. The last player with a star wins!

Setup

  1. Each player takes 1 tablecloth and lays it out on the table in front of them.

  2. Each player takes 3 stars.

  3. Choose the game mode — standard (turquoise cards) or advanced (orange cards). Shuffle the chosen deck and place it face down in the middle of the table.

Note: If this is your first time playing, or you are playing with young children, we recommend the turquoise cards (standard). If you are already comfortable with the game, use the orange cards (advanced). You can also mix the two card types.

  4. Also place in the middle of the table 1 fewer wooden token than there are players. For example, with 3 players, take 2 wooden tokens.

How to Play

  1. The first player is whoever cooked most recently.

  2. The first player counts to three, flips the top card of the deck, and places it in the middle of the table so that all players can see it clearly.

  3. Players look at the revealed card and start fulfilling the order on it at the same time.

    1. To fulfil the order, you must fold your tablecloth so that it shows only the dishes pictured on the revealed order card.

    2. You may only fold the tablecloth along the vertical and horizontal lines between the dishes.

Note: The dish pictures match on both sides of the tablecloth.

    3. The dishes on your tablecloth do not need to be arranged in the same order as on the revealed order card.

  4. As soon as a player believes they have fulfilled the order, they grab a wooden token and place it on the table in front of them. A player can no longer fold their tablecloth once they have taken a wooden token.

  5. The round ends as soon as there are no wooden tokens left in the middle of the table.

Since there is always 1 fewer wooden token in the middle of the table than there are players, the player who fulfils the order last does not get a wooden token. That player discards one of their stars.

  6. Once all players have finished folding their tablecloths, they check whether they fulfilled the order correctly.

  7. If a player fulfilled the order incorrectly and still grabbed a wooden token, they discard one of their stars.

  8. Players return the wooden tokens to the middle of the table and get ready for a new round. Discard the order card that was played.

  9. The player who fulfilled the order last in the previous round becomes the first player for the next round. They flip a new card. The new round follows the same rules.

  10. As soon as a player discards their last star, they are out of the game. After that, remove one wooden token from play (there must always be 1 fewer wooden token in the middle of the table than there are players).

End of Game and Determining the Winner

The last player with a star wins.
