- Game board (in 3 parts)
- 18 starting triangles
- 2 palettes (flickers)
- 6 rolling balls
- 1 assembly key
- 18 coloured balls
Assembly Instructions
-
Detach the red and yellow plastic parts from their supports. If this is difficult, use round-tipped scissors.
-
Place the 3 parts of the board on the table. Sort the starting triangles by colour and by 3. Fix them onto the parts of the game board as shown in Figure 1. Take care to alternate the colours. To make sure the triangles are firmly fixed, simply push them firmly.

-
Turn the 3 parts of the game board over. Fix the 6 rolling balls. To do this, first fit one of the two ends of the axle into the support of the board, then insert the other end, slightly spreading the other part of the support. The choice of colour for the balls does not matter. See Figure 2.
Figure 2: Fitting the rolling balls.
-
You can now assemble the parts of the board. Read steps 1 and 2 before you begin.
Step 1: Place the 3 parts of the board as shown in Figure 3. The tabs marked with arrow A on one part of the board must face the arrows B on the other part. Now push the parts toward each other to fit them together until you hear a "click".
Figure 3: Fitting the parts of the board together.
The 3 parts can now be assembled as shown in Figure 4, leaving a space (C) in the centre of the board. You will notice that the outer edges (D) do not yet line up.
Figure 4: Assembly, Step 1.
Next, position the assembly key on the central space of the game board so that its 3 legs sit above the marks (small rectangles) (E) on the board, as shown in Figure 5.
Figure 5: Positioning the assembly key.
Step 2: Place your hands on two of the parts of the game board as shown in Figure 6, and turn them clockwise. The 3 parts are held together in the middle and form a perfect hexagon.

Goal of the Game
Be the first player to form a winning combination using 4 balls of the same colour (see Figure 7).
Figure 7: Winning combination.
Preparing the Game
-
Each player chooses a colour and takes the 9 balls of that colour, together with the palette (flicker) of the same colour (see Figure 7).
-
Place the balls in the starting triangles of the same colour, all around the board. [The end of this sentence is hidden by an illustration in the scan; the visible text ends "... tout autour du" ("all around the"), and the remainder is missing.]
Playing the Game
Draw lots to decide which player starts. Choose one ball of your colour on the game board and launch it into an empty triangle.
To make your shot easier, you may turn the board so that you can position the ball in front of you.
Place the tip of the palette (flicker) in the triangle opposite the cell you want to reach. Make sure the curved part of the palette is visible.
Make the ball jump by pressing on the end of the palette as shown in Figure 8. Holding the palette between your thumb and index finger lets you control your shot better. With a little practice and a bit of luck, you will manage to launch your ball where you want it to go. Your turn ends there.
Figure 8: Hold the flicker like this.
Shooting Tips
To make a successful shot, the palette must lie flat against one of the three faces of the triangle. This means you only have a choice of three directions. Think carefully about your strategy. If you want to place your ball in a specific cell, you may need several moves to get there.
Keep an eye on your opponent. It can sometimes be wise to block them when they are about to make a winning combination.
Incorrect Shots
Your shot is incorrect if:
- you launch a ball outside the game board;
- you launch a ball onto a cell already occupied by another ball, whatever its colour;
- the ball you have just launched returns to its original place;
- you accidentally launch one of your opponent's balls.
If you commit one of these faults, you must put your ball back in the triangle where it was at the start of your turn, and pass the turn to your opponent.
Winning the Game
Continue playing in this way until one of the two players forms a winning combination of four balls.
Important: You may form a winning combination anywhere on the game board, provided that no ball is on any of the starting triangles.
The winner: The first player to form a winning combination wins the game. You can play matches of 3 or 5 games.
Packing Away the Game
Turn the game board over and turn the key anticlockwise. Detach the three parts of the board by lifting the catches slightly if necessary.
