Captain Cards (Deluxe Edition content)
During setup, instead of rolling a die to determine a starting bonus, each player is randomly assigned 1 captain card. On their score sheet, they fill in the first 3 boxes for the indicated boat type, as well as boxes for the indicated Harbor ships and/or Wharf buildings. In addition, each captain card provides a game-end scoring bonus.
Trophy Cards (Deluxe Edition content)
During setup, randomly select 1 gold trophy card and 1 silver trophy card. Place them face up in the center of the play area. Gold trophies (5 VPs) are awarded at game end to whoever best meets the scoring condition, while silver trophies (5 VPs) are awarded to the first player who meets the condition.
