Setup

Deal out all of the cards to the players. On your turn, you play cards.

How to Play a Card

Basic Rule

To play, you must lay down a higher number than the previous play, using the same number of cards as the previous play.

For example, two 3s can be beaten by two 7s, but not by a single 7.

Card Splitting

You may split a number to lay down more cards at once.

An even-numbered card can be split into two cards whose combined value equals half of that card. For example, a single 6 can be beaten by two 3s played together.

If two even-numbered cards are played together, they may be beaten by four cards split in the same way; if three even-numbered cards are played together, they may be beaten by six cards.

Ole, Vamos!

The highest number, 7, normally cannot be beaten.

However, 1 and 2 together form the "Ultimate Praise" combination, which can beat the highest number, 7. No other play can beat the Ultimate Praise.

Or, instead of playing cards, you may pass your turn without laying anything down.

Scoring

If you have emptied all of the cards in your hand, you receive a score tile according to the order in which you emptied your hand.

Score tiles are worth 3 points, 2 points, or 1 point, awarded in that order to the players who empty their hands first, second, and third.

End of Game

Play as many rounds as there are players.

The player with the highest score wins.
