Quick Rules
- Build a pyramid with the Penalty Blocks in the middle of the table.
- Give each player a Veto Chip, a sheet of paper, and a pencil.
- The person with the most unique eyes goes first. He or she takes a category card and reads it to the other players.
- Players have an option to Veto the category with their Veto chip. If a Veto takes place, a new category card is read.
- If a Veto Chip is not played, the Timer is turned over, giving players 30 seconds to write down three items associated with the category. Use answers you think the other players will also choose as you do not want to be unique!
- The starting player reads his or her answers one by one comparing them with the other players. All matching answers are crossed off the lists. For unique answers, players take a Penalty Block from the pyramid and begin construction of their own pyramids.
- The game ends when the pyramid of Penalty Blocks in the middle of the table is depleted or one person completes his/her pyramid.
- The Player who has the least amount of Penalty Blocks wins!
Object of the Game

Setting up the Game
Take all of the Penalty Blocks from the box and place them in a 5 X 5 square on the table. Now place a 4 X 4 layer of Blocks on top of the 5 X 5 layer. Do the same with a 3 X 3 layer on top of the 4 X 4 layer. Continue in this manner until you have a completed pyramid structure of Penalty Blocks.
Give each player a pencil and one sheet of paper.
Give each player one Veto Chip.
The person with the most unique eyes starts the game. Why unique eyes? We just thought it would be fun!
Playing the Game
- The starting player takes a category card from the box and, choosing only one side of the card, reads it aloud to the other players. He or she then waits a few seconds to see if any players want to Veto the category (see Veto Chips below) and then starts the 30-second sand timer.
- Each player now has 30 seconds to quickly write down 3 answers that correspond to the category card. All players write their answers simultaneously.
- When the timer has run out, everyone must stop writing!
- Now, the starting player reads off the items on his or her list, one by one. If another player(s) sees Eye to Eye with you and wrote down the same answer, all participating players draw a line through those answers. If the starting player wrote an answer that does not match with any other player's answer, that player takes 1 Penalty Block from the pyramid and places it in front of him or her.
- After the starting player is finished with his or her list, play continues clockwise around the table and each player takes a turn reading off the remaining items on his or her list and taking Penalty Blocks if necessary.
- After everyone has finished reading their answers, the person to the starting player's left becomes the new starting player and a new round begins!
Note: If a player does not write down an answer, that is considered a non-answer and for each blank answer the player must take 1 Penalty Block.
Veto Chips
Each player is given 1 Veto Chip at the beginning of the game. If at any time, a player does not feel like they want to play a particular category, the player must yell, "Veto!" before the player turns over the 30 Second Timer. If a player plays a Veto Chip, he or she must return the chip back to the box and then another category is drawn from the box. Use this Veto Chip wisely, as each player is given only one Chip for the entire game.
Personal Pyramids
When a player takes a Penalty Block, he or she places the block on the table in front of him or her. Players build their personal pyramid by laying a row of 5 Penalty Blocks for the first level. After the first level is filled, continue to place an additional 4 Blocks on top of the 5 Blocks. After the second level is filled, continue to place an additional 3 Blocks on top of the 4 Blocks. Continue in this manner until there is a completed pyramid formed.
Game End
The game ends immediately when one of two situations occur:
- One player has a completed pyramid of Penalty Blocks in front of him or her.
- The main pyramid of Penalty Blocks in the middle of the table is depleted.
Scoring
The winner of the game is the player who has the LEAST number of Penalty Blocks in front of him or her!
