Alternative Luck Die
Card face (front of insert):
Risky but promising. At the decisive moment, this die increases your chance of a critical success. Be careful, though: the probability of a critical failure is also higher.
Alternative Movement Die
Card face (front of insert):
Whenever an Entity moves, you may use the alternative Entity die to increase the chance that it moves less. However, this advantage comes at a price. The alternative die can strengthen the Entity, raising the risk, which adds extra tension to every movement.
Alternative Luck Die Rules
During "Strengthen Intentions," you may use the alternative Luck die instead of the normal one.
On this die, the three-pip die face and the X face come up more often.
Transcriber's note: the insert shows the three-pip die face as an icon. The insert does not spell out a separate meaning for it. The front-of-insert text ties the higher frequency to critical success and critical failure, and the English card photo reads the same way.
Alternative Movement Die Rules
During the Dreamscape Phase, you may use the alternative Entity die instead of the normal one.
For Entity movement, the normal rules apply, with the exception of the new die face:
- The Entity moves 1 space only.
- Add 1 Morphing.
Transcriber's note: the insert shows the Morphing face as a swirl icon. Its name ("Morphing") is taken from the English card photo, which gives the same rule as the German "Wandlung".
Translation Notes
- "Wesen" is rendered as "Entity", and "Wesenwürfel" as "Entity die", following the English card wording.
- "Traumlandphase" is rendered as "Dreamscape Phase", following the English card wording.
- "Wandlung" is rendered as "Morphing", following the English card wording.
- "Absichten stärken" is rendered as "Strengthen Intentions". This is a translation of the German term, not a quoted English heading.
- The German card-face titles were "Alternatives Glück" and "Alternative Bewegung". The English titles used here are "Alternative Luck" and "Alternative Movement", as printed on the English card photos.
