Investigating the Biodiversity in the Bounty Trough

Journal card. Cost: 6 Research.

When Acquired

• You: advance your Reputation track one step, advance your Inspiration track one step, and advance your Ingenuity track one step.
• Others: every other player advances their Coordination track one step.

Activation Spaces

This card has two activation spaces, linked to each other:

• Top-left (enhanced Sonar): a Sonar action, with a "+" and a grey disc shown beside it.
• Bottom-right (enhanced Dive): a Dive action, with a "+" and a dive token shown beside it.

Between the two spaces is the Journal icon, which marks the link reward. When both linked spaces are filled, the link is completed and the player may perform a Journal action.

Transcription notes

• The printed text uses icons only, apart from the title and the "Promo Card Wellycon 2026" mark. The icon meanings above are read from the card image and agree with the BGG description of the card.
• The grey disc with a "+" in the Sonar space is read as an extra disc, and the blue token with a "+" in the Dive space as an extra dive token. The base rulebook's Journal examples include "Dive and claim an extra token", which matches the Dive space.
• Three coloured tabs run down the right edge of the card (yellow, pink and green). No printed rule explains them, so they are not transcribed.
