When does Akachi's move after closing a Gate happen?

Immediately, when the Gate is closed (her card says "when you close a Gate"), not at the end of the Mythos Phase. If closing the Gate also moves her to the Himalayas, the order of that move and her passive is unclear; one reply says the Lead Investigator may choose.
